In Syðri-Þverá, farming stopped in 1992. And no one lived on the farm for 25 years. We are now restarting the cultivation of the land. Focussing our efforts on making it a progressive, organic farm.

Hemp fibre is a very strong and versatile material. It can be used to make all kinds of products. From clothes to skin care items, building materials, paper, plastic alternatives and a wide range of food products.
By producing Hemp, we can contribute to a new, sustainable, green industry right here in Iceland.
CBTea
Hemp flowers and leaves also contain CBD, a product that many people praise for its calming effects and health benefits. While we slowly develop our Hemp cultivation, we aim to start producing and selling many CBD products in the future.

When our Hemp operation is fully underway, the next step in the organic revolution of Syðri-Þverá will be our very own bee colonies! Helping Iceland retain its natural pollinators and creating delicious homegrown Honey in the process.
